Weather Update: Today and tomorrow will be a severe day in Rajasthan due to the heat; the temperature may cross 47 degrees

Heat is wreaking havoc in Rajasthan right now. According to the Meteorological Department Jaipur Centre, severe heat and heat wave are continuing in most parts of the state. People are getting no relief during the day as well as at night. Coolers and ACs are failing. In many districts, the temperature has crossed 45 degrees Celsius, while the situation is becoming more serious due to hot winds and low humidity. Due to the continuously rising temperature, the roads are becoming deserted during the afternoon and people are forced to stay indoors.

No relief even in night temperature
If the weather department is to be believed, the situation is such that people are not getting much relief even in night temperature. The minimum temperature was recorded at 32.8 degrees in Phalodi and 32.2 degrees in Kota, due to which the heat persisted throughout the night. According to the warning of the weather department, an orange alert of extreme heat wave and hot night has been issued in Jaisalmer and Phalodi. There is a possibility of extreme heat here both during the day and night. Whereas a yellow alert of heat wave has been issued in many districts including Barmer, Bikaner, Churu, Jodhpur, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Deeg, Karauli and Kota.

Relief in these districts for the time being
, however, no specific warning has been issued regarding the weather in some districts of the state. Areas like Jalore, Pali, Nagaur, Udaipur, Sirohi and Rajsamand have been kept in the green zone. According to the Meteorological Department, on 26 and 27 May, the temperature in many parts of western Rajasthan may reach 46 to 47 degrees Celsius. Due to this, the situation may become more serious. The news of relief for the people of Rajasthan is that a new western disturbance is likely to become active from 28 May. Due to its effect, strong storm and light rain may occur in many areas on 28 and 29 May.
