The terrorist incident that took place in Pahalgam on 22 April was directly linked to the border. After this, India took strong action and launched Operation Sindoor in Pakistan and its occupied areas and on 7 May, 9 terrorist camps were destroyed there. Not only this, when Pakistan openly came out in support of those terrorists, India took military action and attacked Pakistan's airbase and other bases.

Amidst all this, the way Turkey has supported Pakistan in the tension with India, the question is being raised continuously why only Muslim majority Turkey supported Pakistan in this way, whereas there are many prosperous countries from Iran to the Gulf, which did not take such a step like Turkey.

Turkey is establishing itself strongly on the global map with rapid progress in the field of defense. It has become the 11th largest defense exporter in the world. 

According to a report, Turkey's arms exports have doubled between 2019 and 2023 compared to 2014 and 2018. That is, between 2019 and 2023, its defense exports have increased by a whopping 106 percent.

Turkey wants to expand its arms business

Talking about defense exports, the 10 countries that are ahead of Turkey are France, America, Russia, Italy, South Korea, China, Germany, Spain, Israel and Britain. In such a situation, Turkey's motive to help Pakistan is not just strategic, but on one hand it is helping Pakistan and increasing its friendship, as well as expanding its defense market. Turkey has sold the most weapons to the United Arab Emirates, followed by Qatar and then Pakistan. Therefore, Turkey's real motive behind giving weapons to Pakistan is something else.
