Tulips, Roses and More: Amrit Udyan Reopens with Floral Displays and Visitor Attractions

Delhi offers a wide range of attractions for travellers across seasons, from historic monuments and museums to expansive parks and gardens. Among its most anticipated seasonal attractions is Amrit Udyan, located within the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex. Formerly known as the Mughal Gardens, the garden opens to the public for a limited period each year and is known for its vibrant floral displays and tranquil setting.

Amrit Udyan has reopened to visitors from February 3 and will remain accessible for a short duration. Given its limited annual opening, visitors are advised to familiarise themselves with entry rules, timings and facilities before planning a visit.

Situated inside Rashtrapati Bhavan, Amrit Udyan is renowned for its meticulously maintained landscapes, fountains and diverse flower varieties. The garden features 145 varieties of roses and nearly 85 different types of flowers, including seasonal tulips that draw large crowds. Informational QR codes installed across the garden allow visitors to learn more about the plant species on display.
