Both gold and silver prices fell on the international market, Comex. According to Comex data, gold prices fell 1.15% to $4477.80 per ounce. Silver prices fell 1.71% to trade at $65.850 per ounce.
Both gold and silver prices fell in the bullion market. Gold prices on MCX fell to around ₹1.54 lakh per 10 grams. Silver prices in India also fell, trading at around ₹2.40 lakh per kg.
Gold prices fell ₹1,887 to trade at ₹1,54,394 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Silver prices fell ₹3,394 to trade at ₹2,39,050 per kg around 9 am. A fall in gold and silver prices during the festive season will be good news for jewelry lovers. People tend to buy more jewelry during the festive season, so a decrease in jewelry prices during this time will be good news for consumers.
