This Actress Became Mother to 34 Children Seven Years Before Marriage, Has Special Connection with Cricketer Shreyas Iyer

Many veteran Bollywood actresses continue to hold a special place in the hearts of fans, even after stepping away from films. One such actress who is currently making headlines is Preity Zinta. Although she was last seen on the big screen in 2018, she is now in the news because her IPL team, Punjab Kings, has reached the finals of IPL 2025.

Preity Zinta began her acting career in 1998 with a small role in Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dil Se. She then appeared in films like Kya Kehna, gradually establishing herself as a popular actress. In 2016, Preity got married, but interestingly, she had already become a mother seven years before her marriage.

On her 34th birthday in 2009, Preity Zinta adopted 34 orphan girls, turning that day into a truly special occasion. She described the experience as unique and vowed to take full care of the children, visiting them twice a year in Rishikesh.

In her personal life, Preity announced in 2021 via Instagram that she had welcomed twins, Jai and Jiya, through surrogacy. Currently, she is in the spotlight for her association with the IPL team Punjab Kings, which has made it to the final of IPL 2025. The team is captained by Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer, who shares a special connection with the actress through the sport.
