Although the government has not yet announced an official date for the 22nd installment, media reports suggest that the government may release the next installment by the end of February 2026. If this happens, it will be a major relief for farmers. However, it is also important to know which farmers will not receive the 22nd installment so that they can make necessary adjustments in time.

The 22nd installment will not be credited to the accounts of these farmers.

The government has already clarified that if a farmer fails to meet the required conditions under the scheme, their installments may be withheld. This could lead to a delay in the payment due to a variety of reasons, such as:

1. Incomplete e-KYC - Farmers who have not yet completed e-KYC will not receive the benefit of the 22nd installment. The government has made e-KYC mandatory. If your e-KYC is incomplete, the next installment will not be credited to your account.

2. Aadhaar not linked to bank account - PM Kisan Yojana funds are transferred directly to bank accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). If your bank account is not linked to Aadhaar, or the DBT service is not enabled, the funds will not be transferred.

3. Mistakes in bank details - Farmers often enter incorrect account numbers, IFSC codes, or bank names. This can also result in installments getting stuck. Therefore, be sure to check your bank details in a timely manner.

4. Missing your name from the beneficiary list - If your name is removed from the beneficiary list for any reason, you won't receive your installment. This could be due to a minor error, a document not being updated, or a mismatch in information.

5. Lack of Farmer Registry - The government has now made Farmer Registry mandatory. Going forward, only those farmers whose names are registered in the Farmer Registry will be eligible for the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana.

How to check your name and status

Farmers can check their name and status from home by visiting the website pmkisan.gov.in . They can also check their status under Beneficiary Status. They can also check their name on the beneficiary list. They can also check their bank and Aadhaar related information. Until the official date for the 22nd installment is announced, all farmers should complete e-KYC, verify their bank account and Aadhaar linking, confirm their name on the beneficiary list, and complete the farmer registry.
