According to a report by media outlet 'South China Morning Post', the young woman and her husband Cheng live in a luxurious apartment in Chengdu in the southwestern Sichuan province. They pay 10,000 yuan (about Rs 1 lakh 24 thousand in Indian currency) per month to live in that apartment. The couple claims that on the morning of April 25, Cheng was working in the living room. His wife was sleeping in the bedroom. Suddenly, Cheng heard his wife's screams and ran there. He saw his wife sitting naked on the bed and two male cleaners looking at her outside the window. Cheng ran and pulled the curtain.

After this, the couple contacted the company for which these cleaners worked. They also filed a complaint against the housing authority. The couple claims that both the parties should have informed them in advance about the time when the cleaning work would start in the house. But neither of them did so.

"They only said that the window panes would be cleaned during the day from April 21 to April 30. It was not possible for us to not open the curtains for a full 10 days. They should have told us in advance what the times would be for cleaning the windows in our house," Cheng told the media.

Cheng claimed that his wife has been suffering from depression and insecurity since the incident. She has also had to visit a doctor. Therefore, he has demanded a public apology and compensation from the property management company. He has also demanded a reduction in rent. According to reports, the company has accepted his demand and agreed to reduce the rent of the house by about Rs 7500. However, Cheng has clearly stated that he is not satisfied with this.
