This led to Pakistan softening its stance and confirming participation.

The Pakistan government officially announced the decision on social media, stating that the national team will take the field on February 15. Alongside the ICC, Sri Lanka Cricket, the Emirates Cricket Board, and the Bangladesh Cricket Board also appealed to Pakistan to participate.
