Petrol Diesel Filling Trick: Petrol pump employee told the real way of filling oil, revealed the confusion regarding Rs 110-210
Petrol Pump Tips: When filling up petrol or diesel, people often worry that they're not filling enough. In households with more than one bike or car, discussions about the petrol pump are a common theme. People advise each other to fill up at a particular pump, as they provide the best fuel.
Meanwhile, a video of a petrol pump employee is going viral on social media, in which he explains the correct and reliable methods of filling petrol and diesel. The employee also dispels the misconceptions of those who consider themselves clever by filling petrol for ₹110, ₹210, or ₹310.
The video went viral on social media
In the viral video , the petrol pump employee clearly states that filling up with a specific amount of fuel doesn't matter. There are two other things to consider . The first is the density of the fuel.
The employee explains that petrol should have a density between 720 and 775, while diesel is considered ideal between 820 and 860. Density indicates the purity of the oil and whether it has been adulterated. Only if the density is within this specified range should petrol or diesel be refilled.
Users found the advice extremely useful
Another important point concerns the machine's meter. The employee explains that when filling fuel, everyone sees the meter starting at 0, but the real focus should be on the next digit. After 0, the meter should increase by 5. If the meter goes straight from 0 to 10, 12, or 15, it's worth raising your suspicions.
This could be a sign of tampering with the machine. This video, shared on Instagram by @babamunganathfillingstation, has already been viewed millions of times. Users are finding this advice extremely useful, and many are saying they will now only fill petrol by the liter.
