The Mahila Samriddhi Yojana will benefit economically disadvantaged women between the ages of 21 and 60. The annual family income must be between ₹2.5 lakh and ₹3 lakh, but not more. Women with ration cards will be given priority. However, women who hold  government jobs, pay income tax, receive a government pension, or own a four-wheeler will not be eligible for this scheme.

The Delhi government will implement this scheme, which will benefit women in the region. Furthermore, an allocation of ₹5,110 crore has been made for this scheme in the 2026-27 budget. The government estimates that 20 to 22 lakh women will benefit from this scheme. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta previously stated that the scheme will be implemented with full preparation to ensure that every eligible woman can benefit from it.

Women who have been given the facility to register online for this scheme will be required to provide details such as Aadhaar number, name, date of birth, gender, parents' names, marital status, mobile number, email, residence time, and Aadhaar-linked bank account.
