Stampede in Bangalore: Due to the stampede, many RCB fans fainted outside the stadium. Many ambulances were sent to the spot to take all the injured to the hospital. At the same time, the people present there also helped each other.

During the victory parade of Royal Challengers Bangalore, there was a sudden stampede near the Chinnaswamy Stadium. 11 people died in this accident. More than 50 people are injured. This accident happened near the main gate of Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. It is being said that due to the arrival of thousands of people, the crowd suddenly became uncontrolled and then there was a panic. The situation became very dangerous. The condition of many of the injured remains critical.
Nobody expected such a huge crowd- CM Siddaramaiah
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that 11 people have died in the stampede near Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. 33 people are injured. More people than we expected had gathered in Bangalore to celebrate RCB's victory. More than 2-3 lakh people gathered near Chinnaswamy Stadium, no one expected such a huge crowd. There was a small gate in the stadium, a large number of people had reached, they broke it, which led to a stampede.
The CM said that all the injured are out of danger. He has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the stampede incident. The stampede should not have happened during the RCB event, the government has expressed grief over this. Most of the people killed in this accident are youngsters, the government will give an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the families of the deceased. Siddaramaiah also said that the BJP is doing politics on the stampede incident, I do not want to do politics.
Karnataka CM should apologize for the incident- BJP MP Brijlal
BJP Rajya Sabha MP and former DGP of UP Police Brijlal has held the Karnataka government responsible for the stampede in Bengaluru. He told NDTV that the Chief Minister of Karnataka should apologize for this incident. The government cannot escape responsibility. This is a big mistake. This incident should be investigated and accountability should be fixed.
A total of 27 people have been admitted to the hospital. At the same time, 11 people have died.

The stampede occurred when thousands of fans were trying to enter the stadium in a hurry from various gates. The police present at the spot took the injured in ambulances and they were admitted to several nearby hospitals.
Police said the ambulance was initially unable to reach the hospital because of the traffic jam. In a separate incident, a fan fell and broke his leg while climbing a gate to jump into the stadium.
Despite the presence of a large number of policemen, they were seen struggling to control the huge crowd. People climbed trees to get a glimpse of the celebrations.
People present on the spot helped each other
Due to the stampede, many RCB fans outside the stadium also fainted. Many ambulances have been sent to the spot to take all the injured to the hospital. At the same time, the people present on the spot also helped each other. Some people were also seen giving CPR to the injured.
The crowd suddenly went out of control- CM's political secretary Nasir Ahmed

Stampede is the result of administration's negligence- BJP
After the stampede deaths in Bengaluru, the BJP has accused the state government of mismanagement. BJP leader Amit Malviya said that the festive atmosphere turned into a nightmare. This heartbreaking incident could have been avoided. The state government's lack of basic administrative foresight and failure in crowd control has caused irreparable damage. Accountability must be fixed. Lives were lost due to negligence, it is not a coincidence.

The Karnataka government had earlier cancelled the victory parade from the Assembly to the Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium citing security reasons.
Police said that they have been controlling the celebrating crowd since Tuesday night. Throughout the night, security forces were engaged in controlling them and ensuring that no untoward incident takes place.
A huge crowd gathered in the Vidhan Sabha premises to watch the felicitation ceremony organized by the government. The police had to resort to mild lathicharge to control the crowd.
Deputy CM D.K. Shivkumar welcomed the players
Earlier, when the RCB team arrived at the HAL airport here on Wednesday, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar personally welcomed them. He presented bouquets to each player. Shivakumar especially welcomed cricketer Virat Kohli and presented him both the RCB team flag and the Kannada flag. Virat Kohli happily accepted the flags and posed for pictures with the Deputy CM. Shivakumar was also seen waving the RCB flag from his car while going to the airport.
