He entered the world of entertainment with the movie 'Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere'. But yesterday, Dharmendra said goodbye to this world at the age of 89. Dharmendra's death has come as a big shock not only to the industry but also to the fans. Yesterday, Dharmendra's last rites were performed at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai, in which many Bollywood stars also came to say their last goodbye. Now, on the demise of Dharmendra, TV actress Smriti Irani has also shared a post and expressed her heartfelt feelings for him. Smriti Irani told how she had asked Dharmendra for help and he was immediately present for her.

Smriti Irani shared an old picture of Dharmendra on her Instagram account. She wrote in the caption, "He surprised me with his simplicity, his generosity is well known. In 27 years, when I asked him for the first time if he could help me in my electoral campaign, as it was my first time and I hardly knew what to do, he said, "Son, I will definitely come there" and he came to Paharganj, Chandni Chowk with his fans. His visit felt very personal, seeing him, it felt as if I knew him every day."

Smriti Irani further wrote in her post for Dharmendra, "A soul that was gentle, his generosity spoke volumes when he smiled shyly. Goodbye Sir, you leave behind millions of broken hearts. Thank you for your smile, your laughter, and your blessings. Thank you for your presence." Several Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Kapil Sharma, and Priyanka Chopra, expressed their condolences by sharing posts on Dharmendra's demise. Shah Rukh Khan described Dharmendra as his father figure.
