Sidharth Malhotra reunites with Karan Johar for 8th film, shoot set to begin in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is all set to collaborate once again with filmmaker-producer Karan Johar, marking their eighth project together. The upcoming film, backed by Dharma Productions, is expected to go on floors in Mumbai during the summer of 2026.

Emotional drama in the works

According to reports, the film will be an emotional drama directed by Sharan Sharma, known for films like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Mr. & Mrs. Mahi.

Sidharth is said to be in advanced talks for the lead role, and discussions are currently in the final stages. Sources suggest that the actor was impressed with the film’s concept when it was first pitched and has shown strong interest in the project.
