A shocking incident has come to light in Mahoba district. A couple of servants imprisoned their employer and his daughter in their own home for five years, starving them of even food. The elderly retired railway employee died, while the daughter's body was reduced to a skeleton.

A horrific incident has come to light in Mahoba, shocking humanity. Driven by their greed for property, a couple held an elderly retired railway employee and his mentally challenged daughter captive for nearly five years. The elderly man died from starvation, illness, and torture, while the daughter's condition is so dire that she has become a mere skeleton. The sight of this tragic scene has stunned everyone.

This case is located in Hind Tyre Lane, located in the city's Kotwali area. Om Prakash Singh Rathore, a 70-year-old retired senior clerk from the railways, lived in the same house with his 27-year-old mentally challenged daughter, Rashmi. According to family members, after his wife's death in 2016, Om Prakash hired Charkhari resident Ram Prakash Kushwaha and his wife, Ram Devi, to care for her.

Servant couple took over the house

It is alleged that this servant couple gradually took over the entire house and imprisoned the father and daughter in the downstairs rooms. Living in luxury on the upper floor, the couple continued to starve the elderly couple and their daughter. Lacking proper food and medical care, their condition steadily deteriorated. Whenever family members came to visit, the servant would turn them away, claiming they didn't want to meet anyone.

When Omprakash's family received news of his death on Monday and arrived home, they were horrified by the scene inside. Omprakash's body was completely shriveled up. His daughter, Rashmi, was found in a dark room in a state of extreme devastation. Hunger and neglect had left the 27-year-old woman so devastated that she resembled an 80-year-old woman.

The daughter's body became a skeleton.

There was no trace of flesh on his body; only a skeleton remained, barely breathing. The family alleges that the servant couple orchestrated this heinous crime with the intention of seizing his house and bank balance. The family took Om Prakash to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police sent the body for post-mortem

Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. However, the way this railway employee, who once lived a life of dignity in a suit and tie, ultimately succumbed to hunger and imprisonment has shocked the entire area. Currently, the family is busy caring for their daughter and demanding the strictest possible action against those responsible for this inhumane act.
