A shocking incident from Gujarat's Bharuch district has triggered widespread public anger after two Class 12 sisters were allegedly assaulted in broad daylight following a dispute linked to their school. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced online and is being widely shared, prompting calls for strict action against those involved.

According to the victims, the attack took place in the Ankleshwar GIDC area while the sisters were riding a scooter to their tuition classes. One of the injured students, who is receiving treatment in hospital, alleged that the violence stemmed from a disagreement with another student.

Alleged Roadside Assault

The victims claim that after the school dispute, the other student allegedly informed her family about the incident. While the sisters were travelling on their scooter, the accused allegedly intercepted them, causing the scooter to lose balance and the girls to fall onto the road.

The sisters further alleged that they were then physically assaulted by multiple members of the other student's family. According to their statement, one of the accused allegedly used a cricket bat during the attack, while other family members also assaulted them and verbally abused them.

Serious Allegations by the Victims

The injured students have also alleged that during the assault, the attackers made threatening and humiliating remarks intended to intimidate them publicly. According to the victims, the assault continued until local people gathered at the scene, after which the accused allegedly fled.

Both sisters sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

Victim Appeals for Justice

Speaking from the hospital, one of the sisters appealed for strict legal action against those accused in the case. She urged authorities to ensure that those responsible are held accountable, expressing concern that such incidents could make other girls feel unsafe if not dealt with firmly.
