SBI issues advisory for customers, explains dos and don'ts during the two-day strike

SBI Staff Strike: The two-day strike by SBI employees is likely to impact its customers. Consequently, the bank has issued an advisory regarding this matter.
SBI Staff Strike: The country's largest public sector bank, SBI, always takes care of the convenience of its customers. On Friday, the bank issued an advisory for customers, explaining what they should do if they have bank-related work.
The bank issued an advisory.
A post was shared through the bank's official account. The bank informed customers that it is making efforts to continue providing essential banking services at its branches during the strike. However, the bank advised customers to use alternative banking channels to minimize inconvenience.
The post reads, "Please note that the All India State Bank of India Staff Federation (AISBISF) has announced a two-day strike on May 25 and 26, 2026. We are making every effort to ensure that customers receive the necessary services at the branch." The bank then issued an important request to customers in three key points:
- Use ATMs/ADWMs when you need cash.
- Use Customer Service Points (CSPs)
- Prefer internet banking, YONO, mobile banking, UPI and other digital platforms.
After this, the bank has also apologized to the customers for the inconvenience.
It's worth noting that State Bank of India employees are going on a two-day strike on May 25th and 26th. The preceding day is Saturday and Sunday, May 23rd and 24th, and the bank is also closed for Eid. Consequently, SBI Bank will be closed for a total of six days.
