Samsung is set to unveil its next flagship smartphone at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2026, but even before the official announcement, the price details of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have reportedly surfaced online. If the leak is to be believed, buyers may have to dig deeper into their pockets this time.

According to a report by South Korean publication Chosun, Samsung could increase the price of the Galaxy S26 Ultra by as much as 20% compared to its predecessor. The biggest hike is expected on the top-end model.

  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: 1,797,000 won (around ₹1.14 lakh / $1,250)

  • 12GB RAM + 512GB storage: 2,050,900 won (around ₹1.30 lakh / $1,425)

  • 16GB RAM + 1TB storage: 2,545,400 won (around ₹1.60 lakh / $1,765)

The 1TB variant alone may see a price jump of nearly $300 (₹28,000), making it one of Samsung’s most expensive smartphones to date.

On the specifications front, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to feature a 6.9-inch M14 OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and improved peak brightness over the previous generation. Samsung has already teased the device as an “AI Phone,” indicating deeper AI-powered features across the S26 lineup.

Under the hood, the phone is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while select regions may get the Exynos 2600 chipset. Storage options could go up to 1TB, paired with a maximum of 16GB RAM.

In terms of battery, the handset may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 60W wired and 25W wireless charging support.
