Vaibhav Suryavanshi Statement After Second Fastest IPL Century: Vaibhav Suryavanshi's historic century and Yashasvi Jaiswal's unbeaten 70 helped Rajasthan Royals register a stunning eight-wicket win over Gujarat Titans in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Monday. Suryavanshi's 101-run innings, in which he hit 11 towering sixes and seven fours, broke the record for the youngest century in the history of the tournament, surpassing Manish Pandey (19 years 253 days), Rishabh Pant (20 years 218 days) and Devdutt Padikkal (20 years 289 days) as he achieved the feat at the age of 14 years 32 days.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi said after scoring a century

It is a great feeling. This is my first century in IPL and this is my third innings. After the practice before the tournament, the result is here. I just see the ball and play. It is good to bat with Jaiswal, he tells me what to do and he tells the positive things. It has been my dream to score a century in IPL and today it has come true. There is no fear. I don't think much, I just focus on playing.

This is also the second fastest century of the tournament, before this Chris Gayle had scored a century in 30 balls. This is the fastest century scored by an Indian, surpassing Yusuf Pathan's record of scoring a century in 37 balls.
