Breakthrough at the Haryana–Rajasthan Border

In a major joint operation, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch and the Haryana Special Task Force (STF) arrested six accused from the Haryana–Rajasthan border. These individuals were reportedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and their arrest helped investigators uncover the larger conspiracy behind the firing.

How the Accused Kept Dodging the Police

Investigators revealed that the accused managed to stay ahead of law enforcement by:

• Closely monitoring police activity on social media

• Frequently changing locations after spotting updates related to the investigation

• Moving across states, forcing police teams to chase them from Haryana to Uttar Pradesh

• Attempting to erase digital footprints, including call records and online traces

Ironically, despite these efforts, the accused were still active on social media via their mobile phones at the time of arrest, which ultimately helped authorities track them using technical surveillance.

Technology Turned the Tables

Officials said that advanced technical analysis and coordinated inter-state operations finally cornered the suspects. Their strategy of constant movement and online monitoring worked only temporarily, as digital evidence played a key role in cracking the case.
