Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have shared the screen in two major films so far — Gully Boy and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Both movies performed well commercially, but their box office outcomes show clear differences in earnings and scale.

Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar and released in 2019, marked the first collaboration between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film, inspired by the lives of Indian street rappers Divine and Naezy, was made on a budget of around ₹60 crore. It went on to earn approximately ₹235 crore worldwide, making it a strong critical and commercial success.

Four years later, the duo reunited in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar and released in 2023. Featuring a larger star cast and a more commercial setup, the film was made on a budget of around ₹170 crore. It collected about ₹357 crore worldwide, making it the higher-grossing film of the two.

In comparison, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani leads in total box office collections, while Gully Boy stands out for its strong return on a relatively smaller budget and its critical acclaim.
