Rishab Shetty’s Jai Hanuman to Get a Grand Launch in Hampi; Shoot to Begin Soon

South cinema is buzzing with anticipation as Rishab Shetty gears up for his next big project, Jai Hanuman, directed by Prasanth Varma. After the massive success of Kantara Chapter 1, which reportedly earned over ₹800 crore worldwide, expectations are sky-high for Shetty’s upcoming film.

Prasanth Varma, who recently delivered the blockbuster Hanuman starring Teja Sajja, is now expanding the universe with its sequel, Jai Hanuman. Rishab Shetty will headline the film, marking a major collaboration between the actor and the filmmaker. While there is speculation that Teja Sajja may also appear in the sequel, no official confirmation has been made so far.

A major update has now emerged regarding the film’s launch. The makers have planned a grand puja ceremony on February 22 in Hampi, which will officially mark the beginning of Jai Hanuman. The event is expected to be attended by key cast and crew members and is being positioned as a large-scale launch.

Following the ceremony, regular shooting for the film is scheduled to begin in March. The release date will be announced only after filming is completed. Backed by Maithri Movie Makers, Jai Hanuman is being produced as a pan-India project, with several top technicians from the industry involved.

With a strong mythological backdrop, a successful director, and Rishab Shetty in the lead, Jai Hanuman is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about South Indian films in the coming months.
