During the show, the actress revealed why she did not want to take on the role of a traitor, saying that she has already spent years being viewed negatively by the public.

She also expressed concern that taking on the role could lead to another wave of memes and trolling.

Rhea has previously addressed the scrutiny she faced during the controversy surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

During an earlier conversation with host Karan Johar on the show, she said that she wanted to be an innocent contestant rather than a traitor.

Despite the discussion surrounding her role in the game, Rhea was not eliminated in the fifth episode.

Parul Gulati was ultimately eliminated, while the remaining traitors mentioned in the episode included Kullu, Krystle D'Souza and Shehnaaz Gill. Harman Singha had previously been exposed as a traitor in the third episode.
