• To get your digital RC, you will have to visit the mParivahan app and parivahan.gov.in portal.
• Select the 'RC Download' or 'Vehicle Related Services' option from the menu.

• After this, an OTP will come on your mobile number which is registered in RTO.
• As soon as you enter the OTP, the digital copy of your RC will appear on the screen.

Will this digital RC work everywhere?

This is a big question that often comes to people's mind. The answer is yes! According to Indian government regulations, digital documents (such as copies stored in DigiLocker or the m-Parivahan app) are completely valid during traffic checks. You can show them to the police. However, it's always a safer option to have a printed copy with you when handling major paperwork or selling your vehicle.
