Amidst the excitement for Mardaani 3, fans have been wondering if Rani Mukerji will enter Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom universe. During a candid conversation with Karan Johar, Rani made it clear that she has no plans to join Dhoom 4.
Karan Johar recalled asking her, “Rani, he (Aditya Chopra) has a spy-verse, he has a Dhoom-verse, when are you entering his universe?” Rani replied confidently:
“Darling, I have my own universe.”
She explained that her focus is on the female-led Mardaani series, which she calls her “cop-verse.” With the release of Mardaani 3, Rani has been quietly leading a strong, women-centric franchise, distinct from the male-driven spy and Dhoom universe.
