The country's Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, visited Srinagar. After the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, he reached the valley and boosted the morale of the army personnel. During this, he also warned the neighbouring country, Pakistan, in a stern tone.
Rajnath said, 'For the last 35-40 years, India has been facing terrorism being run from across the border. Today, India has made it clear to the whole world that we can go to any extent against terrorism.'
By carrying out the terrorist incident in Pahalgam, India has been hurt. They attacked India on the forehead, we have given wounds on their chest. The cure for Pakistan's wounds lies in the fact that it should stop giving shelter to anti-India and terrorist organizations, and should not allow its land to be used against India.
Terrorists should not consider themselves safe.
The success of Operation Sindoor has also clearly told the terrorist organizations and their masters hiding in Pakistan that they should not consider themselves safe and secure anywhere. Now they are on the target of the Indian forces. The world knows that our forces have a very accurate aim, and when they hit the target, they leave the counting to the enemies.
Not afraid of nuclear threats
The Defence Minister further said, 'We have not even cared about their nuclear blackmail. The whole world has seen how irresponsibly Pakistan has given nuclear threats to India many times. Today, from the land of Srinagar, I want to raise this question in front of the whole world: Are nuclear weapons safe in the hands of such an irresponsible and evil nation? I believe that Pakistan's nuclear weapons should be taken under the supervision of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).'
What is the IAEA?
The International Atomic Energy Agency i.e., IAEA, is an international organization that works to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy and prevent the spread of nuclear weapons. This organization was formed on 29 July 1957. Its headquarters is in Vienna, Austria.
