You may face difficulties getting petrol and diesel in Rajasthan on June 1st. According to reports, petrol pump operators in the state have announced a strike. Pump owners allege that government oil companies are imposing various conditions on them, making it increasingly difficult to run their businesses.

What are pump owners saying?
According to media reports, pump owners say that companies are setting limits on the sale of petrol and diesel and pressuring them to sell branded fuel. However, most customers prefer to buy regular petrol and diesel. Petrol pump operators allege that if they don't comply with the companies' terms, they will not receive regular supplies.

Rajendra Bhati, president of the Petrol Pump Dealers Association, said that state-owned oil companies like Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, and Indian Oil are constantly pressuring pump operators . He said the companies force them to sell branded fuel.
