This feature can lock your phone to only one app. Yes, if someone wants to make a call from your phone, you can just give them the dialer app open and they will not be able to open any other app on the phone. What is the function of the Pin app?

When you use the Pin App feature for a smartphone app, that app is locked. No one can exit that app.
They won't be able to access the phone's home screen.
They won't be able to open Messages, Gallery, or other personal apps.
They won't be able to access the Notifications panel. Simply put, they can only use the app they've been assigned to open.

Where is this option available in Android smartphones?

If you're using an Android smartphone, you'll need to go to your phone's Settings.
Scroll down and click on the Security & Privacy option.
Then, at the bottom, click on More Security & Privacy.
Scroll down and click on the App Pinning option. Click
the toggle next to App Pinning to turn it on.
When you want to lock an app, open it. Open the Recent Tasks screen.

iPhone users will also need to go to their phone's Settings, then Accessibility.
Scroll down and click on the Guided Access option. Click
the toggle next to it to turn it on.
To pin an app, open the app and then triple-click the Power button.
Doing so will display the Start option on the right side of the screen. Click on it to pin or lock the app.
