He advised that the husband’s duty is to love and provide comfort to his wife regardless of her behavior, even if she causes pain or speaks harsh words. The husband should endure hardships without letting his love diminish, fulfilling his responsibilities while trusting that the wife’s karma is her own.

Maharaj reminded that “ईश्वर पत्नी में भी हैं,” meaning God is present in the wife as well, so husbands should never oppose or abandon their wives but remain calm and composed even if the wife refuses advice.
