Farmers have been waiting for the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) for several days. The wait is now over. The government has announced that the 22nd installment of ₹2,000 under the PM-KISAN scheme will be distributed on March 13th. The date was announced on the official account of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) on the social media platform X.
The 21st installment of this scheme was released on November 19th. The next installment was expected in February, but it was delayed. It was hoped that the money would reach farmers' accounts before the Holi festival, but that didn't happen. Now, farmers finally have good news. The government has announced the date for the 22nd installment. To benefit from this scheme, e-KYC and a farmer ID are required.
Assam is facing upcoming assembly elections. Against this backdrop, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Assam on March 13th and 14th. PM Modi will visit Kokrajhar on March 13th. After that, he is expected to attend several programs in Guwahati. Sources have revealed that during this visit, he will distribute the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana to farmers through their banks.
During the distribution of the 20th installment of PM Kisan, more than 3 million names were removed from the scheme's list. The 21st installment was also withheld for some farmers. You can check online whether you will receive the 22nd installment.

Additionally, to check whether your name is on the beneficiary list for this scheme, you must visit the PM Kisan portal. Here, you must click on the Beneficiary List option. Select the state, district, sub-district, block, and village name. You will then see a list of beneficiaries for your village. You can check whether your name is on it.
