The government always supports farmers. To ensure farmers don't face financial challenges for their farming activities, the government has launched several schemes. Among these, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is an important update for farmers currently benefiting from it. The 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana was released on June 20, 2026. Under this installment, a total amount of over ₹18,880 crore was disbursed to over 9.44 crore farmers through DBT.

Farmers are now focused on the 24th installment. Since there's a gap of about four months between installments, it's expected that the 24th installment will arrive in October 2026. However, the central government has not yet announced the exact date of the 24th installment. Therefore, information posted on social media or viral messages should not be considered official.

How much money will be received in the 24th installment?

Eligible beneficiaries can expect to receive the usual installment of ₹2,000, but farmers must meet the scheme's eligibility criteria.

Check if e-KYC is complete.
According to the official PM Kisan website, e-KYC is mandatory. Therefore, it is important for farmers waiting for their 24th installment to check their e-KYC status. They should also verify that their bank account, Aadhaar information, and scheme entries are correct.

Overall, after receiving the 23rd installment in June, farmers are now looking ahead to October. However, any tentative date should not be considered final until the official date for the 24th installment is announced.
