PM Kisan Yojana: 3 million farmers suffer losses, ₹2,000 withdrawn; excluded from PM Kisan Yojana, why?

News has emerged that is increasing the tension among beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Yojana. Millions of farmers have now been excluded from the PM Kisan Yojana. Crores of farmers are awaiting the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. Now, it is being said that millions of beneficiaries will not receive their installments.

30 lakh beneficiaries will not get PM Kisan installment

To benefit from the PM Kisan Yojana, you must meet certain criteria. Your Aadhaar and bank account must be linked to benefit from the scheme. According to information provided by the Ministry, as of February 6, 2026, the bank accounts and Aadhaar cards of 3,018,361 farmers are not linked. Therefore, beneficiaries of this scheme will not receive the 22nd installment.

According to information provided by the Ministry, a list of farmers has been released. According to the information provided in the list, 1 million farmers in Uttar Pradesh have not linked their Aadhaar cards and bank accounts. Approximately 172,349 farmers in Maharashtra have not linked their Aadhaar and bank accounts. Therefore, these farmers will not receive the benefits yet.

It is mandatory to link Aadhaar and bank account.

Farmers want to link their bank accounts. You can do this online or offline.

Online process

First, you need to visit the bank's website. There you will see the option to seed or update Aadhaar.

Go to the bank app, log in and select the Aadhaar link option.

Apart from this, you can also link Aadhaar by visiting the UIDAI portal.

Offline process

First, you'll need to visit a bank branch. Then, you'll need to show your Aadhaar card and passbook.

After that, fill the Aadhaar link form given by the bank.

After that, you can link Aadhaar through SSS or ATM.
