Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme, millions of farmers across the country are eagerly awaiting the next, 24th, installment. Under this scheme, which aims to increase farmers' income and provide financial assistance, the government sends ₹6,000 annually through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This amount is transferred to farmers' bank accounts in three installments of ₹2,000 each.

Recently, on June 20, 2026, the government transferred ₹18,880 crore to the accounts of over 94.4 million farmers as part of the 23rd installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi . Given the typical four-month payment interval, it is estimated that the 24th installment will be paid around October 2026. However, farmers are required to complete e-KYC to receive this amount.

3 easy ways to complete e-KYC to get the 24th installment

According to information on pmkisan.gov.in  , if you haven't yet completed your e-KYC process, your next installment of ₹2,000 may be delayed. You can do this in the following three ways:

1. Through Aadhaar OTP (Easiest method)

• pmkisan.gov.inFirst of all go to the official PM-KISAN portal ( ).
• Click on the 'e-KYC' option given on the homepage.
• Enter your Aadhaar number and submit.
• You will receive an OTP on your Aadhaar linked mobile number.
• Your e-KYC process will be completed successfully once you enter and submit the OTP.

2. Through CSC Center (Biometric Verification)

• If your mobile number is not linked with Aadhaar, visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
• Carry your Aadhar card and active mobile number with you.
• There the operator will complete your e-KYC through biometric (fingerprint/iris) verification.

3. Through PM-KISAN App (Face Authentication)

• Download 'PM-KISAN' app and 'Aadhaar Face RD' app from Google Play Store.
• Login with your registered mobile number.
• Check the status of e-KYC by going to 'Beneficiary Status'.
• If the status is 'No', tap on e-KYC and enter your Aadhaar number and scan your face.

How to check your eligibility and status in PM Kisan?

Before receiving the 24th installment, it is very important to ensure that your name is in the beneficiary list.

• Check Beneficiary Status: Go to the 'Know Your Status' section of the portal, enter your registration number and click on 'Get Data' to check the status of your payment.
• Check village beneficiary list: Go to the 'Beneficiary List' option on the portal, select your state, district, sub-district, block and village, then click on 'Get Report' to check your name in the list.
