VFS Global has expanded its Korea visa application network in South Asia, with a new Korea Visa Application Centre opening in New Delhi. The facility was inaugurated on September 15, 2026, by Lee Seong-ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India.

Where Is the New Korea Visa Centre in Delhi?

The new centre is located on the mezzanine level of Shivaji Stadium Metro Station on Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place.

Its location near a major metro station could make it easier for applicants from different parts of Delhi to reach the centre for submitting their visa applications and completing the required procedures.

Four Korea Visa Centres Now Available in India

VFS Global has been providing visa application services for the Republic of Korea in India since 2011.

With the opening of the new Delhi facility, Korea Visa Application Centres are now available in four Indian cities:

• New Delhi
• Bengaluru
• Chennai
• Kolkata

The expansion also extends beyond India. New centres have opened in Dhaka and Colombo, taking the total number of Korea Visa Application Centres operated by VFS Global across the region to six.

Globally, VFS Global now operates nine Korea Visa Application Centres across six countries.

What Does VFS Global Do?

Travellers should remember that VFS Global does not decide whether a Korean visa will be approved.

Its role is primarily administrative. This includes accepting visa applications and supporting documents according to the applicable checklist and collecting biometric information where required.

The final decision on whether to approve or reject a visa application rests with the relevant Korean diplomatic mission.

Therefore, using the new centre does not guarantee visa approval and does not change the eligibility requirements.
