Oppo F35 Series Arrives in India: 8,000mAh Battery and 50MP Selfie Camera Take Centre Stage

Oppo has expanded its smartphone portfolio in India with two new 5G smartphones as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of its F series. The company has introduced the Oppo F35 Pro 5G and Oppo F35 5G, bringing a combination of high-resolution cameras, large batteries and fast charging.

One of the biggest highlights of both smartphones is their 50-megapixel selfie camera, while both also feature a 50-megapixel primary camera on the rear.

The phones are expected to go on sale in India later this month through major online platforms and Oppo's online store.

Oppo F35 Series: Price and Variants

The Oppo F35 5G starts at ₹38,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 128GB version is priced at ₹42,999.

The Oppo F35 Pro 5G starts at ₹45,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The higher variants include an 8GB + 128GB version priced at ₹45,999 and an 8GB + 256GB version priced at ₹49,999, while another 8GB + 256GB variant is listed at ₹54,999.

Oppo is also offering promotional benefits, including a 10% instant bank discount and a 10% exchange bonus.

The smartphones are expected to be available through Flipkart, Amazon and Oppo's online store.

The Oppo F35 Pro 5G will be available in:

The standard Oppo F35 5G will be offered in:

Pro Model Gets a 144Hz AMOLED Display

The Oppo F35 Pro 5G comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display.

The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, while its instant touch sampling rate can reach up to 4,000Hz. Oppo claims peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits.

The standard F35 5G gets a slightly smaller 6.57-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits.

Different Processors for the Two Models

The F35 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset, while the standard F35 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max.

Both smartphones use LPDDR4X RAM.

For storage, Oppo has equipped the Pro model with faster UFS 3.1 storage, while the standard F35 5G gets UFS 2.2 storage.

50MP Selfie Camera on Both Phones

Camera capabilities are another major highlight of the new F35 series.

Both smartphones feature a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. On the rear, both models also get a 50-megapixel primary camera.

The F35 Pro 5G gets an additional 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 116-degree field of view. It also features dual-axis optical image stabilisation.

The standard F35 5G instead gets a 2-megapixel monochrome camera alongside its primary sensor.

For video recording, the standard model can record up to 2.5K video, while the Pro version can record 4K video at up to 30fps.

Massive 8,000mAh Battery

Battery capacity is one of the biggest talking points of the new smartphones.

Both the Oppo F35 Pro 5G and F35 5G pack an 8,000mAh battery and support 80W wired fast charging.

This combination is aimed at users who want extended battery life without having to frequently recharge their phones.

Built for Tough Conditions

Oppo has also focused on durability. Both smartphones carry IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water under specified testing conditions.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type-C port.

For navigation, the phones support GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou.

Security features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

Android 16-Based ColorOS

The Oppo F35 series runs on ColorOS 16.5, based on Android 16.

With large batteries, fast charging, AMOLED displays and 50MP selfie cameras, Oppo is positioning the new F35 series as feature-packed options in the premium smartphone segment.

The key difference between the two models comes down to the display, processor, storage technology, camera configuration and additional features offered by the Pro variant.
