Combining banking and style, a credit card has now been launched that offers customers a 'visual' experience. This card not only looks great, but also offers reward points and advanced security features that make payments more enjoyable.
Nowadays, the use of credit cards has become common. Now, along with metro cities, you will see the trend of credit cards in Tier-II and Tier-III cities as well. In the digital era, credit cards have become a part of our daily needs. Meanwhile, such news has come regarding credit which will surprise you. Now LED credit cards will be available in India. The light will turn on as soon as payment is made through these cards. This is being seen as a big innovation in the credit card sector in India. Credit management platform CheQ and AU Small Finance Bank have jointly launched the country's first LED-powered co-branded credit card.
This card is known for its unique "Tap-to-Pay LED feature," which lights up during every transaction. The card's most distinctive feature is its built-in LED light system. For contactless payments, the LED on the card lights up as soon as the user taps the card. This technology is powered by the POS machine's NFC field, meaning it requires no batteries. This makes the payment experience more interactive and secure.
The rewards system is also very unique.
This launch marks a major step for CheQ. The company, which previously operated as a bill payment platform, is establishing a strong presence in the credit and rewards ecosystem with this card. The card's rewards system is also unique. All rewards are earned in the form of "CheQ Points," which users can easily track and redeem on a single platform. This simplifies the complex rewards structure of traditional credit cards.
LED Credit Card Supports UPI
Additionally, the card features UPI support. Users can make payments by linking their RuPay credit card to UPI, earning rewards. If you're interested in this credit card, you can apply through the CheQ app starting April 28, 2026.
What are the fees for LED credit card?
The LED credit card has an annual fee of ₹499, which is refundable upon annual spends of ₹3 lakh. Cardholders will also receive a welcome benefit of an EazyDiner membership worth ₹695. For CheQ customers, an additional one-time fee of ₹999 will be charged for the LED version of the card until May 31, 2026.
Why is LED credit card special?
Until now, CheQ was just a credit card bill payment platform, but with this launch, the company has entered the credit card insurance rewards commerce. This card has been created based on the data of 15 million cards and 4 million users. There were some challenges with these cards, such as scattered rewards, difficult redemption, and stale user experience. But now, everything can be found in one place with this card. According to the company, the biggest strength of this card is its unified rewards system. All rewards will be available in a single app and can be used easily.
