Nothing has expanded its premium audio lineup with the launch of the new Headphone (1) Pro over-ear headphones. Designed for users who want high-quality sound along with long battery life and strong noise cancellation, the new headphones bring several upgrades over the company's previous model.

The Headphone (1) Pro features a three-driver audio system, improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), spatial audio with head tracking and support for lossless USB-C audio. The headphones are aimed at users looking for a more immersive listening experience.

Nothing Headphone (1) Pro price

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is priced at $399 in the US, which is roughly ₹38,300. This makes it around $100 more expensive than the original Headphone (1) at launch.

The headphones are available in black and white colour options. While the product is listed on Nothing's India website, the company has not yet announced its India price or confirmed availability.

Triple-driver setup for enhanced sound

One of the biggest upgrades is the three-driver configuration. The headphones use a 40mm bass dynamic driver, a 13x8mm precision dynamic driver and an xMEMS driver dedicated to high-frequency sound.

The headphones offer a frequency response of 20Hz to 40,000Hz. Users also get features such as Personal Sound and Flat EQ, while the audio tuning has been developed in collaboration with Metropolis Studio.

Up to 46dB noise cancellation

The Headphone (1) Pro comes with an upgraded ANC system that uses 10 microphones. Its adaptive noise cancellation technology can reduce external noise by up to 46dB, according to Nothing.

There is also a Transparency Mode for users who want to hear their surroundings without removing the headphones. For calls, the headphones use a four-microphone system designed to improve voice clarity.

Spatial audio with head tracking

Nothing has also focused on making music and other content more immersive. The headphones support Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking.

Users can choose from different listening modes, including Standard, Live House, Club and Concert Hall. There is also a mode inspired by Studio B at Metropolis Studios.

The Headphone (1) Pro supports Hi-Res Audio and codecs including AAC, SBC, LDAC and LC3. Lossless audio can also be enjoyed through USB-C.

Battery can last up to 68 hours

Battery life is another major highlight. The headphones pack a 1,060mAh lithium-ion battery.

With ANC switched on, they can provide up to 30 hours of playback in AAC mode. With ANC turned off, battery life increases to up to 68 hours.

For LDAC playback, the headphones offer up to 28 hours with ANC enabled and up to 53 hours with ANC disabled.

IP52 rating and Bluetooth 6.1

The Headphone (1) Pro carries an IP52 rating for resistance against dust and water. It weighs 327 grams and uses tactile controls instead of relying entirely on touch gestures.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 6.1, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair and dual-device connectivity. The headphones can also be quickly paired with Apple devices.

A premium upgrade from Nothing

With its triple-driver setup, advanced ANC, spatial audio, LDAC support and long battery life, the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro represents a significant step up in the company's over-ear headphone lineup.

However, its higher price puts it firmly in the premium headphone segment. The final India price will be important in determining how competitive it will be against established premium audio brands.
