Nitin Nabin Meets PM Modi After Taking Charge as BJP Acting President, PM Praises His Organisational Experience

Soon after assuming charge as the Acting National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Nabin met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday evening. The meeting is being seen as an important political moment for the party’s organisational future. During the interaction, Prime Minister Modi congratulated Nabin on his new responsibility and expressed confidence in his leadership abilities.
Sharing details of the meeting on social media, the Prime Minister said, “Met with BJP National Working President Shri Nitin Naveen. Congratulated him on his new responsibility and wished him success in strengthening the party at the grassroots level.” He added that Nabin’s organisational and administrative experience would serve as a valuable asset for the BJP.
PM Expresses Confidence in Nitin Nabin
Prime Minister Modi further stated that he was confident Nitin Nabin’s long experience in organisation-building and administration would help the party move forward effectively. He noted that collective efforts under strong leadership would help fulfil the aspirations of the people.
The meeting assumes significance as the BJP is currently focusing on reinforcing its organisational structure, particularly at the booth and grassroots levels, ahead of upcoming political challenges.
Focus on Strengthening the Party Organisation
Before meeting the Prime Minister, Nitin Nabin held discussions with senior national general secretaries at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. These meetings focused on future strategies, organisational activation, and planning upcoming programmes.
After formally taking charge as Acting President, Nitin Nabin chaired his first major meeting at the party headquarters. Several senior leaders attended the meeting, including national general secretaries BL Santosh, Shiv Prakash, and Sunil Bansal. The discussions centred on energising the organisation and chalking out plans to strengthen the party structure across states.
Assumed Charge Earlier This Month
Nitin Nabin was formally appointed as the National Executive Acting President of the BJP on the 15th of this month at the party headquarters in Delhi. Since taking on the new role, he has been meeting senior leaders to seek guidance and blessings. His meeting with Prime Minister Modi is being seen as part of this process.
