There may be a change in the price of an LPG cylinder

Like every month, this time too, on August 1, oil companies will review the prices of LPG cylinders. Last time on July 1, the price of commercial gas cylinder was reduced by Rs 60, while there was no change in the price of domestic cylinder. Now it is expected that there may be relief in the price of domestic LPG cylinder from August 1. If this happens, then the general public will definitely get some relief and kitchen expenses may be reduced.

Changes in CNG and PNG prices are also possible

Oil companies also change the prices of CNG and PNG on the first of every month. However, there has been no change in these since April. Last time on April 9, the price of CNG in Mumbai reached ₹ 79.50 per kg and the price of PNG reached ₹ 49 per unit. Now their prices are likely to change once again in August. If prices increase, the cost of transportation and domestic gas may increase.

New rules related to UPI will be implemented

To make digital payments better and safer, some new rules (UPI New Rules 2025) related to UPI will be implemented by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) from August 1. Now balance can be checked only 50 times a day on third party apps like Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm. At the same time, bank accounts linked to mobile numbers on any UPI app can be viewed a maximum of 25 times a day.

Additionally, autopay transactions like mutual fund SIPs or OTT subscriptions will now be processed only in 3 fixed time slots of the day: before 10 am, from 1 pm to 5 pm and after 9.30 pm. This will reduce the load on the system and reduce the problem of transaction failure.
