A 10th-grade student in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area tearfully confessed to her teacher something that shocked everyone. She said that since April 2025, her mother and neighbors had been forcing her into sexual activities. The teacher was shocked to hear this and immediately reported the matter to the school administration and the police.

The student said her mother and neighbors would send her to other people for money. Even when she protested, she was threatened and silenced. Out of fear and helplessness, the student left home one day and spent three days hiding at a friend's house. But when she returned, the abuse would resume. The girl said she was constantly being financially and mentally abused.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, Ghatkopar police immediately registered an FIR. A case was filed against the girl's mother and neighbor under several serious sections, including sections of the POCSO Act, as the victim is a minor. Police are currently conducting a thorough investigation and are preparing to take strict action against the culprits.

The teacher and school administration took this incident seriously and took immediate action to ensure the minor's safety. This case has served as a warning to society regarding child safety and family violence.
