Speculation surrounding the much-anticipated biopic of legendary actress Madhubala has finally been addressed. Amid widespread rumours about who will portray the iconic star, casting director Mukesh Chhabra has clarified that no actress has been finalised for the role so far.

For weeks, names like Kiara Advani, Anit Padda, and Sai Pallavi were doing the rounds as potential leads for the biopic. However, Chhabra dismissed all such claims in a now-deleted social media post.

In his statement, he sarcastically remarked that he, as the casting director, seemed unaware of any “finalised” casting, adding that the process has not even begun yet. His comment effectively shut down ongoing speculation and clarified that reports about confirmed actors were premature.
