LPG Gas: You will now get a five-kg gas cylinder without address proof, no documents will be required

Amidst the growing gas shortage in the country, new news has emerged: students, migrant workers, and working youth who do not have a permanent address will now be able to easily get a 5-kg portable LPG cylinder without address proof. Under Bharat Petroleum's Bharatgas Mini and Indian Oil's Indane Chhotu (5 kg) schemes, cylinders can be purchased immediately by simply presenting a government-recognized ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, etc.).

Who can avail this facility?
Students and young people living in hostels
Migrant labourers and people working in other cities
Families living in rented houses where permanent address proof is difficult
Small families with low gas consumption or people with temporary needs
These 5 kg cylinders are lightweight, portable and easy to carry from one place to another. These can be purchased from the nearest Bharatgas or Indane distributor or authorized point of sale. After making the payment, the cylinder is immediately delivered and can be started using.
Bharat Petroleum and Indian Oil have officially announced that there is no requirement of address proof for these mini cylinders.
