How many days' remand did the NIA seek?

The NIA presented Anmol, who was arrested after his extradition from the United States, in Patiala House Court around 5 p.m. The federal agency sought 15 days' remand after presenting Anmol before

NIA arrested him as soon as he landed in Delhi

Earlier, Anmol Bishnoi, who was extradited from the US to India, was arrested by the NIA at Delhi airport. Anmol, wanted for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, the April 2024 shooting at Bollywood star Salman Khan's home, and the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, among other crimes, was deported from the US on Tuesday. It's worth noting that Anmol Bishnoi was detained in the US last November.

NIA filed the chargesheet in 2023

According to Hindi news agency 'Bhasha', Anmol Bishnoi, who has been absconding in the US since 2022, is the 19th accused to be arrested for his involvement in the terror syndicate led by his jailed brother Lawrence Bishnoi. An NIA spokesperson said in a statement, "The NIA had filed a charge sheet against Anmol in March 2023 after investigations into the case revealed that he had actively assisted proclaimed terrorists Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi in carrying out various terrorist acts in the country during the period 2020-2023."
