Filmmaker Karan Johar recently paid tribute to the show, saying it truly changed the face of Indian TV — crediting Ekta Kapoor for this monumental achievement.

Karan Johar shared the promo of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 on his Instagram story, writing: “One show. Many generations. Countless memories. Personally, a show that changed the face of Indian television and all the credit goes to Ekta Kapoor!!!”
