Actually, Priya Seth and Hanuman Prasad, who were serving life imprisonment in the Holi Chowk locality of Baroda Meo town, got married today. Both were granted parole following the High Court's order. The biggest thing here is that both are serving life sentence in the murder case. Priya Seth, a resident of Pali district, had trapped Dushyant Sharma, a resident of Jhotwara, in a love trap through a dating app to repay the debt of her lover Dikshant Kamra.
As part of the conspiracy, she called Dushyant to meet her on May 2, 2018. She then took him to her flat in Bajaj Nagar. As per the plan, her lover Dikshant and his friend Lakshya Walia were already waiting for them there. The three held Dushyant hostage and demanded a ransom of 10 lakh rupees from his father. The father deposited 3 lakh rupees in Dushyant's account. Fearing arrest if they released Dushyant, the three strangled him to death. To conceal Dushyant's identity, they mutilated his face and, after stuffing his body into a suitcase, dumped it in the hills of Amer.
Based on an FIR filed by Dushyant's father, the Amer police recovered Dushyant's body on May 3, 2018. On May 4, the police arrested Priya, Dikshant, and Lakshya Walia. Priya Seth, a resident of Pali, comes from a well-educated family. Her grandfather was a principal, her father a college lecturer, and her mother a government school teacher. On May 24, 2024, a Jaipur court convicted Priya Seth, Dikshant, and Lakshya Walia of murder and sentenced them to life imprisonment. The accused, Lakshya Walia, is the only child of his mother and is a deceased father.

Meanwhile, Hanuman Prasad, a groom-to-be, murdered Taekwondo player Santosh Sharma's husband, Banwari Lal, and their four children in Shivaji Park on the night of October 2, 2017. He sedated them with sleeping pills and slit their throats with a knife. After committing the murders, Hanuman, a resident of Baroda Meo, fled to Udaipur by train. At the time, he was preparing to become a physical education teacher. Police arrested him two days later.
