Indian cricket team fast bowler Akash Deep is all set to begin a new chapter in his life as he prepares to tie the knot with his fiancée Akshita on June 24 in Varanasi.

Known for his sharp pace and disciplined bowling on the field, Akash Deep is now gearing up for a traditional wedding ceremony surrounded by family, friends, and well-wishers.

Wedding ceremonies begin in full swing

As per reports, the wedding festivities will start with a Tilak ceremony on June 21, followed by Mehndi on June 22 and Haldi on June 23. The main wedding ceremony will take place on June 24 at a five-star hotel in Varanasi, where the couple will take their vows in the presence of close relatives and invited guests.

Local celebrations in Bihar

Akash Deep hails from Baddi village in Sasaram, Rohtas district, Bihar. His wedding announcement has sparked celebrations in his hometown, where preparations are underway and the family home has been decorated for the occasion.

His fiancée Akshita is from Manikpur village in the Dehri-on-Sone block of the same district.

Political and sporting guests invited

Ahead of the wedding, Akash Deep has personally met several dignitaries to extend invitations, including Bihar’s Sports Minister and international shooter Shreyasi Singh, as well as state Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.
