India A’s young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi finally ended his 39-ball wait for a big hit during the fourth match of the tri-series against Sri Lanka A in Sri Lanka. However, his innings was once again cut short, with Sri Lanka A captain Sahan Arachchige playing a familiar role in his dismissal.

India A and Sri Lanka A met for the second time in the tournament, and once again, Arachchige proved to be a key factor in removing the promising left-hander early.

A familiar pattern in Vaibhav’s dismissals

Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 21 runs off 14 balls in this match, hitting three boundaries and one six. His wicket fell to Sahan Arachchige, who got him caught by Vanuja Sahan after inducing a false shot.
