Unnao rape case: The Unnao rape case has been a topic of discussion these days. In this regard, the Supreme Court on Monday stayed the High Court's bail order. Following the court's decision, Ishita Sengar, the daughter of accused Sengar, shared an emotional post. In it, Ishita said that for the past eight years, she has been doing everything she can to be "the daughter of an MLA."

Ishita Sengar said, 'I am tired, I am scared'

Dr. Ishita Sengar shared a long and emotional note on the social media platform X. She described how her silence was interpreted as weakness and her identity was reduced to that of a "culprit's daughter." Ishita wrote, "I have been asked countless times on social media why I am alive. I receive threats that I should be raped or killed. This hatred is not imaginary; it is a daily experience." She clarified that for eight years, her family trusted the law and the Constitution, so they did not participate in TV debates or protests. But now she feels that her dignity is slowly being taken away. Ishita says she wrote letters to every official and media house, but no one listened because her "truth" was of no use to anyone.

The Supreme Court took a tough stand

Ishita's letter comes at a time when the Supreme Court has stayed the Delhi High Court's decision granting conditional bail to Kuldeep Sengar. The court clarified that given the gravity of the crime, the convict cannot be granted any relief at this time.
