The demand for justice in the widely discussed Ketan Agrawal murder case from Pune, Maharashtra, has reached the office of the President of India. Ketan’s father, Vishal Agrawal, has written an emotional appeal to President Droupadi Murmu, requesting swift action and a speedy trial in the case.

In his letter, Vishal Agrawal said he was not approaching the President as a businessman or an influential person, but simply as a grieving father who wants justice for his son. He requested that the case be heard in a fast-track court and that the accused receive the strictest punishment according to law.

Father Shares Pain of Losing His Son

In the emotional message, Vishal Agrawal described how the tragedy has deeply affected his family. He said the loss of Ketan has left a permanent void and turned their lives upside down.

He also revealed another painful loss faced by the family after Ketan’s death. According to him, Ketan’s grandfather was unable to overcome the shock of losing his grandson and passed away about 20 days later after suffering serious health complications.

The family, he said, lost two generations within a short period.

Family Demands Speedy Justice, Not Special Treatment

Vishal Agrawal clarified that his family is not asking for any special privilege or VIP treatment. Their only request is that the sensitive case be transferred to a fast-track court so that the legal process can move forward quickly.

He expressed concern that lengthy court procedures increase the suffering of families waiting for justice. According to him, delays should not allow criminals to take advantage of legal loopholes.
