Candidates interested in joining the Himachal Pradesh Police have another chance to apply for the HP Police Constable Recruitment 2026. The recruitment authorities have reopened the online application process for applicants who were unable to complete their registration during the first application period.

Eligible candidates can now submit their applications until August 21, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the process well before the deadline, as no further extensions or additional application windows are expected.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age, with age calculated as of January 1, 2026.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 from a recognized educational board or institution in India. Selection Process

Salary details

Candidates selected for the Constable post will get a monthly salary ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹64,000 depending on the applicable pay structure and service rules.
