Honor Magic V6 Unveiled at MWC 2026 With Ultra-Slim Design, Massive 6,660mAh Battery, and Flagship Performance

Honor has strengthened its position in the foldable smartphone segment with the launch of the Honor Magic V6 at MWC 2026. The new flagship foldable focuses on a combination of sleek design, high-end performance, and long battery life. According to the company, the device is designed to set new standards in the foldable category, particularly in terms of power efficiency, display quality, and camera capabilities.

The Honor Magic V6 features a dual LTPO display setup, consisting of a 6.52-inch LTPO 2.0 cover screen and a larger 7.95-inch inner foldable display. Both panels support adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling and gaming. The outer display delivers a peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits for HDR content, while the inner screen reaches up to 5,000 nits. Honor has also used ultra-thin flexible glass and an anti-reflection coating, claiming a 44 percent reduction in crease depth compared to its predecessor. When folded, the device measures just 8.75mm in thickness.

On the performance front, the Honor Magic V6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, making it one of the most powerful foldable smartphones announced so far. To maintain sustained performance, the phone includes an advanced vapor chamber cooling system. It supports configurations of up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and Honor has promised up to seven major Android updates, positioning the phone as a long-term software-supported flagship.

For photography, the device comes equipped with a triple rear camera system. This includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Honor claims the telephoto camera features CIPA 6.5-rated image stabilization, which should help deliver sharper images, especially during zoom photography.

Powering the Honor Magic V6 is a large 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery built using fifth-generation battery technology. The company states that the battery achieves an energy density of 921Wh/L, allowing for extended usage without increasing device thickness. Charging options include 80W wired fast charging, 66W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, rounding out the phone’s flagship feature set.
